The laboratory is equipped with facilities intended for studying design of units, equipment and control systems used in modern high-speed ground transport systems, both traditional wheeled and advanced, using magnetic levitation. Training models of traction drives of high-speed electric trains "Sapsan" and "Allegro", traction-lifting modules of perspective systems with linear motors allow studying main directions of high-speed ground transport development in the world.
There is a training simulator of high-speed electric train "Sapsan" in the laboratory, which allows to control movement of high-speed train in conditions as close to real as possible, and to feel like a pilot of high-speed railways.
