The laboratory is equipped with all modifications of modern electronic train safety devices, such as Integrated Locomotive Safety Device (ILSD) and Automatic Train Braking Control System (ATBCS). These devices are installed on special benches that allow studying work of the devices in real time.
The laboratory is also equipped with an electronic training simulator for the AC electric locomotive driver of the VL85 series with various peripheral devices. The simulator allows to study control of an electric locomotive, driving modes of various trains and find solutions in emergency situations.
